It's a decent story in the 1632 series as countries try to block France's attempt to control the New World. While a decent story, I do find the idea of starting mining in the Hudson's Bay area amusing (I've been there twice. The winters are beyond cold.Anyone who would choose to winter there when more desirable climes are available is just silly.
