I don’t remember preaching a series I have enjoyed more than Soul Life
I don’t remember preaching a series that I think will help us more in our personal relationship with God.
I continue to give the series much thought, study and prayer. I feel like I am giving everything I know on the subject and yet I think there is so much more to learn.
I love how immense and yet personal our awesome God is!!!
I love every weekend at Parkview
11 am service was packed and 9:30 was real strong!!
I will give you a hug if you can attend Sat night at 6
If you don’t want a hug please attend Sat night anyway!!
Group Life is going strong
Had a brand new family visit and sign up for a group
Feel like stream lining our group life has encouraged people to only be a part of one group – I don’t want people to overdose on group life.
I encourage you to attend 1 worship service – serve in 1 ministry – attend 1 group
Thankful for our worship team
Choir hit a grand slam in exalting the Great I Am!!!
I mentioned a few books that have helped me in my study: Sacred Rhythms by Mark Buchnanon, Sacred Pathways by Gary Thomas and The Me I Want To Be by John Ortberg. All are great books!
Walk in the path that God has given you to best connect with Him!

WOW!!
What a weekend!!
God is so good!!!
All three services were great worship experiences!!! I wish we could have had 10 services this weekend!!!
Had 3 families visit on Saturday night alone – all 3 loved it and promised to be back! Incredible!!
Loved the launch of Soul Life – I have just had a feeling that God is up to something big and is really going to use this series to bring life transformation.
Speaking about the seasons of our soul really seemed to resonate with so many people. God showed up in so many lives!

We reached our goal of $2,000 for bunk beds in our student center in Cambodia. AMAZING!!! Thanks so much for your generosity!!!
I had a real nice tome with my new friends in Get Connected.
Group Link was a real enjoyable event last night.
Loved watching so many connect in Group Life
John Williams and Sandra Petrin worked real hard and did a great job hosting Group Link!
It was great to introduce Rick Siboni as our new Executive Pastor! Our church family is so thrilled to see one of their own step up to the plate. I am so glad to have Rick on the team!
Can’t wait to see what God is going to continue doing at Parkview!!
It really does feel like Summer at Parkview!!! To God be the glory!!!

What a thrill it was to be back at Parkview this weekend!
What a thrill it was to be back in the US!
What a thrill it is to be healthy!
What a thrill it will be when my body gets adjusted to the current time zone!
I always love preaching at Parkview.
Love both our mission and values and it was great talking about them this weekend.
I appreciated Steve’s help with the hand motions
Seeing our new piano was a thrill to my heart – still amazed over what God did in that situation!!!
Always great to meet guests.
So many people have become a part of our church in the last few months.
Can’t wait to meet all the new people at Get Connected this coming weekend.
Group Life is going to be AWESOME this Spring. If you are not in a group already be sure to click here and take your life to a whole new level!
Excited to raise $2,000 to provide 20 beds for students in our student center in Cambodia! If you want to participate just mark your contribution BEDS. If we raise in excess of our goal all the additional funds will go towards the student center.
I am privileged to serve with such a wonderful staff and the best church family in the whole world!!
I CAN’T WAIT for our new sermon series that begins this weekend – Soul Life.
WOW – God is good!!

This has been the best Christmas ever at Parkview!
We have had some tremendous worship!
God has revealed Himself strong in Scripture each week!
We have had alot of fun and laughter!!
All the above has created a tremendous environment for Life Change
This weekend we baptized 13
We had a number of people trust Christ as their Savior
Living Nativity and Wise Men Gift Exchange were grand slams!!
WMGE served 150 families and 380 kids! WOW!! Special thanks to Margaret Subers and 100+ volunteers!!
Living Nativity had phenomenal support from our church family!! Many people didn’t volunteer hours but volunteered DAYS!
Thanks to Pastor Derek, his leadership team and a great group of servants!
Our Christmas offering was almost $5,000 this weekend and our total is now over $19,300!! $3,700 more and we will reach our goal! REAL excited about the outreach/evangelism opportunities this creates!!
Sunday after church 7 of us drove to Philly for a couple quick days of Vision Philly thinking. So thankful for those that God has put in my life who have a heart for our adopted city. Awesome to see others think about missional living and how that might connect them to Philly. This is just the beginning of fulfilling Acts 1:8.
This morning our team devotion was Lamentations 3:51.
Looking forward to 4 Christmas Eve services!!

Maybe the best music ever at Parkview!! Worship team brought their A game for the Savior!!
Great to have Caron Weeks with us
Met a new guy who came today for the first time and he told me he knew about us because he came to Trunk or Treat. He met with Pastor John after the service and is getting baptized next week!!!
Totally excited about this – A young man comes to me and asks me if I recognized him. I confessed that I did not. He told me his name and I about fell over from excitement. Back when we first started the church he and his sister attended our youth group. Had some hard times/family stuff and I hadn’t seen him since he was about 14. He came today with his wife and little boy. They just moved back to Palm Coast. He is bringing toys for the wise men gift exchange and is coming back next week!!! God is so good!!
I am really thankful for our team that is going to Cambodia in a few weeks!!! Going to help students live a better life and equip them to take the gospel back to their villages.
Please continue to pray about how you can participate in the Christmas offering. Generosity!!
A family is either faithful to church or they are not. I sometimes take for granted all those who are faithful!!!
If you took a packet of door hangers please make sure to pass them out by Wednesday night!
Weather is looking good for living nativity.
PLEASE INVITE EVERYONE YOU KNOW!! The living nativity is an incredible way to celebrate the Christ of Christmas.
I am so excited about how the Lord is growing our church!!!
Wise Men Gift exchange already started setting up their shop!
It is such a privilege to help people have presents for Christmas!!
Next weekend the music is going to incredible!! I know what we experienced this weekend but I promise you next weekend is going to be phenomenal!
Remember that next weekend we are only doing to Sunday services because we are hosting the Living Nativity Thur-Sat night.
Praise God for the opportunity to celebrate the birth of His Son!!!

Amazing worship at Parkview this weekend!!
I Love Our Church!!!
Steve was hilarious – his Pedro rendition following the opener of Feliz Navida was hysterical!! A moment we will not soon forget!! Click here if you missed it.
Really appreciated Margaret sharing about the Wise Men Gift exchange. Going to be a phenomenal event again this year.
It was wonderful to be reminded that we helped 132 children have Christmas last year!!
Special thanks to Brusters and Woodys for joining us this year and putting out collection baskets!
I am glad that again this year part of the Christmas offering will be used to help children have Christmas.
I announced this past weekend that a family had given a $5,000 seed gift to get the Christmas offering started!
Please pray about how the Lord will have you participate in our Christmas offering!
We are giving a gift to Christ so that we can give the gift of Christ.
Our attendance this past week was incredible – we had over 100 more in attendance than we did the same Sunday a year ago. That has happened a few times this Fall. More people simply means the more opportunities for Life Change!!
The set on the stage looks incredible!!
A special thanks to our tremendous nursery workers!! We had a full house of kids and all our workers showed up!!!
Excited about some of the traction in kids ministry!!
THE MUSIC THE REST OF THIS MONTH IS GOING TO BE OFF THE CHART!!!

Loved spending Thanksgiving weekend with our church family!!
Thanksgiving praise was great!
Loved doing communion at the tables with family!
It was great to have Barry and Laura as our guests
Thankful for how God is using them
Grateful for how Parkview sponsored, prayed and supported them
Enjoyed the time that Denise and I had on stage with them – great to do ministry as family!
The last 2 weekends have just been so enjoyable.
Love how we partnered in Hendersonville, love that we have adopted Philly.
Really looking forward to further developing our strategy for Philly!!
Look forward to our Christmas offering – it is such a thrill to use our gifts to help so many!!!

There is alot to look back on and celebrate this past weekend
Dan Schill did a great job leading worship this weekend. Love seeing leaders step up! Dan has faithfully been leading our teen worship band on Thursday night and had one of his teens, Stuart Knob, join him in our weekend worship experiences.
Several times this weekend I looked around and saw people going the extra mile in volunteerism and do things “not in their job description”. Thankful for all of our awesome volunteers!!!
If you are not volunteering you are the one missing out!!! Email penny@parkviewlife.com to get plugged in today. We have awesome opportunities in 2nd-5th grade and are looking for people to bring Life Change to students.
It was great to meet new friends!
Enjoyed Get Connected!
Concluded our series, Unstuck, by talking about how to get unstuck in our finances.
John Skripko and Jessica Farmer did a phenomenal job in sharing their stories!!! Thx for doing it 3 times!!!
Although talking about money can be a tough subject, I always love how our church responds.
I actually enjoy talking about finances – not because I want something from our people but because I want something for our people – the supernatural touch of God upon their money!!!
I shared in all 3 services that over the last 3 years our general fund offerings have gone up 11%, 11% and 4% consecutively. Considering the Palm Coast economy that amazes me. I am thankful for the generosity of our church family. Generosity emulates Christ and creates opportunities to bring Life Change!
I love pastoring Parkview!
CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEKEND!!!! GOING TO BE AWESOME!!

Thankful!!!
Spoke on a very relevant topic this weekend – How to Get Unstuck in your Career. I felt like each service was very engaged and grabbing biblical principles for Life Change.
A major chunk of our lives involve our careers – we can’t afford to life out of sync in this area!
Mark was a quitter (Acts 13) who was rejected (Acts 15) who went on to write the second gospel and be requested by Paul at the end of his life (II Timothy 4:11)
We are not what we do!
We are God’s masterpiece regardless of our job title.
A daily quiet time and a weekly sabbath help us maintain our identity and keep it separate from our occupation.
Having faith and being faithful are two separate things.
You can have all the faith you want but that may never get you a promotion. You have to be faithful in the little things. Matthew 25
I am very grateful for all those coming on Saturday night. We had another great Saturday night attendance this week. Also, the 9:30 service had a tremendous crowd. As a result 11am had good space – which creates room for our guests. We regularly have guests at all of our services but 11am has the highest guest traffic so I am very grateful that we are creating room for growth at 11am. Thanks for your help!!
I announce this weekend 3 recent results of generosity – 37 families given food the last 2 times our food pantry was open, a family had their electric turned back on, and 3,500 came out to Trunk or Treat!!! A special thanks to every person who gives to make this happen!!!
This coming weekend we will share the opportunities that will be connected to our annual Christmas offering. I can’t wait to give a gift to Christ so that we can give the gift of Christ. Our Christmas offering always has an others/outreach focus.
Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be spending significant time on our new missions endeavor that we will be unveiling soon.
I am really excited about how the Lord is expanding our missions endeavors.
We have some amazing volunteers and watching them in action every week is a real privilege!!

Nice to have my in-laws in town for a month – really:)

I look forward to going to Parkview every weekend
The place just doesn’t disappoint!
God is at work
Love the love from all the people
Love the power of the Word
Love engaging in worship
Think our drama team always hits a home run
Get charged by seeing so many people serving from the heart
Seeing people experience Life Change never gets old
Seeing people come to faith in Christ is what it is all about
This weekend a little girl came to me and said that she remembered that I like Kit Kats and she gave me 2 of them – made my day!
Thankful for the great staff and leaders that God has placed around me!
